2020 Wrap Up

Woah, this has been an interesting year for everyone in the world. It has indeed been an eventful year for us here at mybjjdunedin. At the start of this year, we finished renovations to the dojo. During our two grading days of the year, we had several new coloured belts promotions with three of our teens receiving their blue belts. At the competitions, some of our members placed 1st and 2nd in national competitions. Overall, we successfully completed competitions and gradings. This year we have gained new members who are dedicated, mature and progressing really well in their journey in Jiu-Jitsu, we are very proud of you!

Sadly we will be losing one of our oldest members Dave Davis to Nelson; you will be missed mate. We will continue to have Coach Hamed and Matiu helping our members with their journey in Jiu-Jitus.

We also like to thank all our members and parents for the lovely gifts, cards and continuing support.

We wish our members and parents happy holidays and a healthy prosperous coming year. We hope to see you all back in mybjjdunedin, your Dunedin Dojo to learn the gentle art of Jiu-Jitsu from your friendly team next year.
